Hi everyone! I recently took some photos of my Gallymogger/Blog work space  so I wanted to share a few of the pictures with you!  I think my favorite part of my desk has to be the wooden crate I got at JoAnn’s for $6!  I’m thinking of grabbing a few more for some furniture accents once I move!

I was also so fortunate to be featured in the Mollie Makes Gathered digital magazine!  I’m a HUGE fan so this was a happy dance worthy moment!

I have to be honest, I really haven’t had much time to practice lettering lately, but I still try to make room for it at least once a week.  Unfortunately the shaky hand issue doesn’t seem to be getting any better, but I’m sure that will take more than a month or so to fix!  If you would like to see more click on over for practices #1 and #2.

I thought I would update you all with my hand lettering practice.  I am really enjoying it, and find it to be very therapeutic.   I still have a long way to go, and I have a terrible shaky hand issue to fix, but besides that, I’m pretty pleased!  If you would like to see practice #1, click here.

As some of you might know, I have a couple freebie images on the blog.  Well, now you can also purchase them (and more!) in this spankin’ new Society6 shop!  I’ll also be adding new images from time to time, but of course I will also keep increasing the freebies on the blog as well.  Basically, I opened the shop so that you can get more than just art prints, but it is also for people that might not want to take the effort of printing a high-quality print themselves (aka people like me).  I’ll also make sure to create a little link to the shop on the sidebar shortly.

If you have been following me on Instagram, then you might have seen a sudden influx of lettering pictures.  Recently I purchased a graph paper Moleskine (it’s amazing!), and have spent a good chunk of my free time practicing hand lettering.  Now, I know I’m not that great, but practice makes perfect. Right?  Also, I have a Letting Pinterest board that I use for inspiration, if you would like to join along, feel free to check it out!

If you are interested in lettering, let me know in the comments!  I always love seeing other people’s work!

Hi everyone!  After watching all of the coverage of Hurricane Sandy, I felt compelled to do something to help.  So, now through December 1st, I will donate 20% of all sales in the Gallymogger Antiques and Oddities Shoppe, and 20% of all ad sales through the blog to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.  If you ever wanted to publicize your business, blog, or anything you think might be compatible, now is the perfect time!

This weekend I had the pleasure of going on a lovely outing to part of Skyline Drive, a driving trail through along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  I was so excited to see the leaves changing, and boy was it beautiful!  I do have to say that I don’t think any photos could do it justice, but I tried!

Warning: Image Heavy Post

I just love this time of year!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently!  I just moved and am still trying to get my bearings.  As soon as I’m back up with Gallymogger and this blog, there will be lots of fun things in store!
